Letter From The Founder

Hello, my name is LaShonda Capel, owner and founder of Community Pride Assisted Living, LLC. I have had the privilege and opportunity to help children from all walks of life. My experience started here in North Carolina with a family-owned business that worked directly with at-risk and mentally challenged children in a day treatment and group home environment. I truly enjoyed the experience and challenge of helping children reach that next level. It ultimately became a passion. To see a child slowly change and elevate their thinking is a wonderful process.

Community Pride Assisted Living recognises that the abuse and neglect many children suffer from is through no fault of their own. It is our mission to provide wholesome and supportive living environments for our children. We lead with compassion and understanding, which is essential to begin the healing process.

It is my belief that all children can achieve and excel with realistic goals if given the opportunity.
